A flower blooms on the forest floor And is seen by not a soul But it needs not to be seen To know that it is beautiful A sunset shimmers across the sky What was once blue, now an array of colour It shines bright for all to see And knows that it is beautiful A butterfly, with wings of silk Lies hidden on a branch It need only open its wings To show the world that it is beautiful A boy like me Scared and alone Confides in a special friend They speak of that which lies within And he knows that he is beautiful
